Đối với IELTS Speaking Part 1, sẽ thật nhàm chán nếu bạn không thêm thắt một chút cho câu trả lời thêm phần “quyến rũ”. Không cần cầu kì, nhưng chúng sẽ tạo dấu ấn tốt cho GK và giúp bạn lụm thêm 1 ít điểm.

Đồng ý:

Phản đối:
- No, I totally disagree.
- I’m afraid I disagree.
- I see things rather differently myself.
- I wouldn’t say that is necessarily true.
- I tend to disagree.
- I’m not so sure about that.
Đồng ý một phần
- I don’t entirely agree. It is true that……otherwise…
- That is partly true, but…
- I agree with that to some extents. Yet
Giải thích rằng quan điểm của bạn còn tuỳ thuộc vào hoàn cảnh
- That depends…
- I think it really depends…
- That depends on how you look at it.
Khi không nắm rõ giám khảo vừa hỏi gì hay giám khảo nói quá nhanh bạn không kịp nghe câu hỏi, bạn có thể hỏi lại như sau:
- Could you please explain what …(word)… means?
- Sorry, I don’t understand the question. Could you explain?
- Sorry, I’m afraid I didn’t understand the question.
- Sorry, can I just clarify what you mean. Are you asking me …(say what you believe you have been asked)…
- Sorry, would you mind repeating the question?
- Sorry, I didn’t quite catch that. Could you repeat the question?
